Why Power Flush

There are many reasons to consider having a central heating system power flushed.

Over time sludge, debris and corrosion build up in your system and this will reduce the overall performance of your heating system.

This can be found in many ways:

Some of the radiators might have cold spots. In some cases the whole radiator panel may not get hot, this could be due to a blockage in the pipe work or the radiator could be full of sludge. You will see this when you bleed your radiators. You may well find dirty black or brown water and this confirms the system has corrosion starting to develop.

Other symptoms are:

Radiators are cold at the top and need bleeding due to gases, a by product of rusting.

On new boilers if sludge or debris is found present in a new boiler the manufacturers warranty will usually be void.
